PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. -- Tommy Gainey has withdrawn from The Honda Classic with a wrist injury.

Gainey, who was scheduled to tee off at 1:20 p.m. ET, shot a 76 in the opening round before pulling out prior to his second round.

In seven starts this year, Gainey has two WDs -- the other came at the Waste Management Phoenix Open -- and three missed cuts. His best finish this season was a tie for 52nd at the Northern Trust Open.
