PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. -- The cut at The Honda Classic was 1 over Friday, which is the lowest it’s been since the tournament moved to PGA National a few years ago.
Still, there are some notables headed home early.
Despite a 67 by Bud Cauley on Friday, he’s headed home after missing the cut by one. Ditto Boo Weekley, who shot 68 but still missed the cut.
Jim Furyk went the other way. After a 68 on Thursday, he shot 74 Friday to finish at 2 over.
Hank Kuehne, making his first start in five years due to back problems, saw his chances go by the wayside with rounds of 70-74.
