Well ahead of the majority of Sunday’s commotion at the
AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am, Kevin Streelman has poured
in his seventh birdie of the day to reach 13 under through 12
holes. Playing three holes ahead of leader Phil Mickelson, who is
14 under through nine, Streelman has climbed within one shot of the
lead. He is in position to post a good number in the clubhouse for
Mickelson and the other leaders to chase. Currently two back, after
a birdie on the par-3 7th is 54-hole leader Charlie Wi. Joining Wi
at 12 under is Ricky Barnes, who has five birdies on his round
including back-to-back birds at Nos. 10 and 11. Moving the other
way is Tiger Woods, who had reached 12 under with a birdie on No.
6, but has bogeyed three consecutive holes to drop to 9 under, five
behind Mickelson.
