SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Spencer Levin's lead has dwindled but he's still just nine holes away from his first PGA TOUR victory.
Levin just drained a 15-footer for par at the ninth hole so he'll take a four-stroke lead to the back nine. At roughly the same time, Ben Crane was watching his 23-foot birdie putt -- which could have narrowed the gap to three -- horseshoe in and out of the hole.
Crane is tied at 12 under with rookie John Huh and Kyle Stanley, who squandered a five-stroke lead in the final round of the Farmers Insurance Open and lost in a playoff. Crane and Stanley, who are playing together, both shot 32 on the front nine.
Huh, a PGA TOUR rookie who is playing in the final group for the second straight week, turned in 33.
