The first round of the Transitions Championship has been suspended
due to darkness with three players still on the course. Russell
Knox, Joseph Bramlett and Bobby Gates, the last group to tee off
No. 1 Thursday afternoon, will return to complete Round 1 on Friday
at 8:15 a.m. ET. Knox (1 under) will open his morning with an
11-foot par putt while Gates (1 over) will be facing a six-foot
birdie putt on No. 17. Bramlett (2 over) posted a bogey on No. 17
before play was called. Paul Casey will be the overnight leader at
7 under, two shots better than Nick Watney, Garrett Willis, Martin
Laird and Scott Stallings. Round 2 tee times will begin as
scheduled at 7:45 a.m. ET. The Knox-Bramlett-Gates group is
scheduled to begin their second round on No. 10 at 9:40 a.m. ET.
