It won’t be enough for Gay to win, but it certainly improved his payday with Gay jumping more than 30 spots on the leaderboard. How good was Gay on Sunday? He needed just 20 putts and for the week he led the field in driving accuracy, which included hitting all but one of his fairways in the penultimate round and all of his fairways in the second round.
