Jeff Overton must like the Metroplex of Texas. After all, he’s picking up where he left off on Thursday during the first round of the Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial.

Overton has just birdied the 16th hole -- his sixth in his last nine holes -- to move to 6 under and one stroke off the lead held by Jason Bohn.

Overton's birdie putts have come from 6, 26, 6, 16, 3 and 28 feet. He was tied for the lead on the back nine Sunday at the HP Byron Nelson Championship and ended up finishing two strokes back in second.
