IRVING, Texas -- It took 15 holes, but Keegan Bradley finally has made a birdie in Sunday's final round of the HP Byron Nelson Championship.

And now he has regained a share of the lead heading to the final three holes.

Bradley's birdie putt from 17 feet, 7 inches at the par-4 15th was set up with a great approach shot and moved him to 12 under. Tournament leader Sang-Moon Bae then followed by seeing his par putt from 4 feet, 8 inches lip out, dropping him to 12 under and into a tie with Bradley.

Bae had led playing partner Bradley by four shots through eight holes, but a double bogey at the ninth brought him back to the pack. Bradley had suffered two bogeys with no birdies through his first 14 holes before making the birdie putt, which he followed with a fist pump.

Charl Schwartzel continues to hang around and is only one shot off the lead going to his final hole of the day.

IRVING, Texas -- Sang-Moon Bae hit his approach shot from 132 yards at the par-4 sixth to within 5 feet to set up his birdie putt in the final round of the HP Byron Nelson Championship.

Bae currently leads Keegan Bradley by two shots through 13 holes Sunday.

IRVING, Texas -- Sang-Moon Bae was in control of the HP Byron Nelson Championship after eight holes on Sunday. But as the final group makes the turn, it might be Keegan Bradley who has the momentum.

Bae was enjoying a four-shot lead thanks to a superb putting display early Sunday. But an errant tee shot, followed by an approach shot that found the water, left him with a double bogey at the par-4 ninth.

Meanwhile, Bradley -- the 54-hole leader who had seen Bae sprint past him on the front nine -- made a clutch 14-1/2 foot par-saving putt that left him pumping his fist after the ball dropped. That left Bradley at 12 under while Bae dropped to 14 under.

Bae made putts of 26 feet, 7 inches at the third; 22 feet, 1 inche at the fifth; and 11 feet, 4 inches at the eighth to grab the lead. The second-year pro is seeking his first PGA TOUR win.

IRVING, Texas -- Jason Dufner was hoping a return to the TPC Four Seasons Resort, where he won the HP Byron Nelson Championship a year ago, would jump-start his season.

It didn't happen.

Dufner finished a frustrating four days at 1 under and will leave Las Colinas still seeking his first top-10 of the season. Dufner's best finish this year in 12 starts is a tie for 12th at the World Golf Championships-Cadillac Championship.

"It's just not much fun playing golf right now the way I'm playing," said Dufner, who is scheduled to play in next week's Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial, where he finished second last year to Zach Johnson.

Dufner hit just 46.4 percent of his fairways this week, includng five of 14 on Sunday. He also struggled with his putting, needing 123 putts over the four rounds.

Asked what his main issues are, Dufner replied, "Pretty much everything.

"Can't score, so that's the name of the game out here. You got to make birdies and save pars when you can, and I can't do it, so very frustrating time for me right now, golf-wise."

IRVING, Texas -- For the first time in three days, someone other than Keegan Bradley leads this week's HP Byron Nelson Championship.

A two-shot swing at the 502-yard par-4 third has moved Sang-Moon Bae into the lead at 13 under.

Bae rolled in a 26-foot, 7-inch birdie putt while Bradley was making bogey after his tee shot found the water down the right side of the fairway. That dropped Bradley to 12 under.

The next closest pursuers are Charl Schwartzel and Scott Piercy, who are both at 9 under. So Bae and Bradley could be making this a two-man show.

Bradley has led this tournament ever since posting a course-record 10-under 60 on Thursday morning. He's seeking to become the first wire-to-wire winner at the HP Byron Nelson since Tom Watson in 1980.

UPDATE (2:55 p.m. ET): Sang-Moon Bae now holds a three-shot lead after birdies at the par-3 fifth and par-4 sixth. That moves him to 15 under, with Keegan Bradley at 12 under.

IRVING, Texas -- Keegan Bradley will soon play the par-5 seventh, one of two par 5s at TPC Four Seasons Resort. He has feasted on those two holes at this week's HP Byron Nelson Championship.

Bradley is a cumulative 7 under on the par 5s -- the seventh and the 16th -- through his first three rounds, with five birdies and an eagle on his six attempts. His eagle came at the seventh hole when he drove the green in two and made a putt from just outside 10 feet. That happened in the first round en route to his course-record 10-under 60.

No player in the field this week has performed better on the par 5s.

Of course, it's no surprise that Bradley has taken advantage of the par 5s. He ranks tied for third on the PGA TOUR in par-5 scoring average with a 4.50 average. Tiger Woods is first at 4.36 with Justin Rose second at 4.41.

IRVING, Texas -- With the final twosome now having started their final round, the hottest players on the course are Morgan Hoffmann and Charley Hoffman, each at 4 under on their rounds.

Hoffman has two birdies and an eagle at the par-5 seventh and has just made the turn.

Hoffmann has five birdies, including at the 10th and 11th holes to bounce back from a bogey at the ninth.

Each player is at 8 under, currently five shots off the lead held by Keegan Bradley. With windy conditions expected for the rest of the afternoon, an early low score could look pretty nice at the end of the day.

Ricky Barnes currently has the low score of all finishers thus far, shooting a 4-under 66 to finish at 5 under.

IRVING, Texas -- Scott Piercy has just teed off to begin his final round at the HP Byron Nelson Championship. Starting three stokes behind Keegan Bradley, Piercy is seeking his third PGA TOUR win in as many years.

He knows he needs to be aggressive on Sunday in order to catch Bradley. But he also knows he'll need to pick his spots at the TPC Four Seasons Resort.

"It's more defense on this golf course than offense," Piercy said. "You can make a lot of bogeys, and it doesn't give you a lot of birdies because because you have awkward lies in the fairways with cross winds and pins that are tucked. It's hard to get the ball close."

Piercy didn't need to get the ball close in shooting a 4-under 66 on Saturday, making two birdie putts outside 45 feet and another outside 30 feet. If his putter remains hot on Sunday, he'll have a chance.

"Going to play steady golf (Sunday) and take my birdies where I can get 'em and eliminate the bad stuff," Piercy said. "If Keegan doesn't run away and hide, I might have a chance."

Piercy has shot 66-68-66 to get to his 10 under total through three rounds. He figures another 68 in the tough conditions Sunday might do the trick.

"If the wind is going to be up as much as they say it's going to be, there is going to be a lot of defense," Piercy said. "So a couple under (Sunday) could go a long ways."
