Cameron Triangle is in the hunt, in part, because of this long birdie putt on the par-3 third hole at TPC San Antonio. Click here to watch.
Cameron Tringale has zoomed to the top of the leaderboard, thanks to a fantastic start -- eagle on the first hole, followed by three consecutive birdies at the Crooked Cat course at Orange County National. He's now 17 under and has a firm grasp on keeping his TOUR card for next season.
This is not the first time Tringale has made his move late in the q-school finals. A year ago, he closed with rounds of 69-67 to finish tied for 19th to gain his TOUR card.
Tringale, a three-time All-American at Georgia Tech, is trying to end his year on a high note after a disappointing rookie season on TOUR. He missed the cut in 17 of 22 starts, although he did produce a couple of T-11 finishes during the Fall Series – a foreshadow of how he’s playing this week.
