In 2015, the Valspar Championship donated over $1.8 million to Tampa Bay area charities, which raises the total donated over the past 39 years to more than $34 million. This would not have been possible without our dedicated, hard-working volunteers.

When is the tournament?
The dates of the tournament are Monday, March 6 through Sunday, March 12.
Where is the tournament played?
The tournament is played at Innisbrook which is located in Palm Harbor.
Which days are volunteers required?
Volunteers are mainly required Wednesday-Sunday of the tournament week but assistance is needed before and after the tournament. A wide variety of tasks need to be accomplished before and after the tournament, including distribution of volunteer uniforms, course set-up and breakdown, movement of courtesy cars and assistance in the tournament office. If there is a delay, play may continue on Monday which will require some volunteers.
How long would I be expected to work each day?
Depending on your committee, the average day is 4-6 hours long. Some positions require longer days and we attempt to split the day into two shifts.
How many volunteers are needed?
There is no pre-determined number of volunteers required to run the tournament. Volunteers are needed for all the committees. Marshals is the largest committee and is always looking for additional members. We also have a need for volunteers on the following committees: Lasers, Hospitality, Tickets, Transportation and the Tournament Office.
What should you wear?
The tournament will provide a volunteer package that includes a golf shirt, windshirt, ball cap or visor, volunteer ID badge and guest badge and lunch vouchers. There is a fee to offset the overall costs of the uniform. Volunteers are required to wear the uniform when working the tournament.
