Kevin Stadler ... Even though he didn't survive the 54-hole cut at the Wells Fargo Championship, he elbows his way back into this feature for the second consecutive week thanks to a number of supportive angles. For starters, he's 22nd on TOUR in total driving, fifth in greens in regulation, T6 in proximity to the hole from the rough and 41st in bogey avoidance. He's also 10-for-12 on the season with three top-11 finishes, the most recent of which a T8 in New Orleans just two weeks ago. The clincher is that he's survived three of four cuts at TPC Sawgrass and recorded two top 25s.
Pat Perez ... Making his 11th consecutive appearance at THE PLAYERS. Tied for third in 2006 and shared 25th place last year. Ranks T29 in ball-striking (23rd in greens in regulation) and 26th in both adjusted scoring and bogey avoidance. His current consecutive cuts made streak of seven includes a T7 in Tampa and a T18 at Harbour Town.
Graham DeLaet ... Possesses the kind of skillset that fits TPC Sawgrass well. Arguably best known as a bomber -- he's eighth on TOUR in distance off the tee -- he's third in total driving and even better with his approaches, ranking second in greens in regulation. The Canadian also sits T15 in proximity to the hole, 15th in scrambling, T15 in par-5 scoring and 12th in bogey avoidance. He's cooled a bit since a run of five top 25s in a six-tournament stretch January-March, but he's missed only one of his last eight cuts. Tied for 70th in his debut at TPC Sawgrass last year.
Chris Stroud ... With a T10 in 2010 and a T12 in 2011, he's earned more at TPC Sawgrass than any other course on the PGA TOUR. Among his three top 15s this season is a T6 at the RBC Heritage three weeks ago. He's currently 167th in greens in regulation but ninth in scrambling and 49th in bogey avoidance.
Harris English ... Back for another spin after sharing 64th place in his first appearance at TPC Sawgrass a year ago. Took last week off in the wake of a season-best T6 in New Orleans, his third top 10 of the season. Ranks 57th on TOUR in greens hit, 49th in strokes gained-putting and 47th in par breakers. Just a sophomore on the PGA TOUR, he boasts a cuts-made percentage of a filthy 80 percent.
