Charity guidelines for THE PLAYERS
Proceeds from THE PLAYERS Championship supports charities in the five-county area surrounding Jacksonville. Those counties include St. Johns, Duval, Baker, Nassau, and Clay. If a charity has 501(c)(3) federal tax-exempt status and is located in one of these five counties, it may request support from THE PLAYERS.

2013 PLAYERS Charity Guidelines
• Participate in THE PLAYERS Birdies for Charity campaign
Charities can earn unlimited funds by participating in Birdies for Charity, and they also are eligible for additional funds from THE PLAYERS Birdies Bonus Pool. Most charities seeking support from THE PLAYERS will be supported through the Birdies for Charity program. For information on THE PLAYERS Birdies for Charity program, click here.
• Apply for a PLAYERS' "Red Coat" Grant
The Red Coats are a committee of past Chairmen of THE PLAYERS Championship. "Red Coat" grants are typically in the $2,000-$10,000 range, and there are a limited number of grants awarded by the Red Coat Grant Committee each year. Click here for guidelines. The 2014 Red Coat Grant Application will be available immediately following the 2014 PLAYERS Championship.
• Chip in for Youth
Chip in for Youth provides youth sports associations, schools, parent-teacher organizations and youth-related charities in the five-county area an the opportunity to raise funds by promoting the sale of a Good-Any-One-Day PLAYERS Championship ticket. Participating organizations will receive from TOUR $25 of each $40 ticket they sell. The remainder of the net proceeds of each ticket will be donated by TOUR to The First Tee. • Apply for a Major Grant
THE PLAYERS Championship offers multi-year grants beginning at $50,000 on a periodic basis. The primary area of focus for THE PLAYERS major grants are education, youth development, and children's wellness. Organizations whose mission falls within those subject areas may submit a request for funding. Major Grant requests are reviewed by a charity committee on a quarterly basis.
NOTE: There are no new grants available in calendar year 2013
• Request an auction package for use as a charitable fundraiser
THE PLAYERS will offer a "PLAYERS Auction Package" to charitable organizations in the five-county area that contains four grounds tickets for the Saturday and Sunday of THE PLAYERS 2013 with parking. The value of this package is $260. To request an auction package from THE PLAYERS, mail information to:
