This is the first par 5 players will face, and depending on wind conditions and which tee PGA TOUR officials use, it can be reached in two shots. The tee shot is fairly open, with only one bunker on the right side of the landing area and a few trees on either side of the fairway. Aiming just left of the bunker will give you the best line for a second shot. If a player chooses not to challenge the green on the second shot, the lay-up must avoid the water that guards the entire right side of the fairway and continues up to the green. The green is generous and receptive, open up front to entice players to try hitting the putting surface in two. In that sense, it is a classic par-5 putting surface.
