Playing back along the opposite side of the pond on No. 4, this parkland-style hole presents players with perhaps the most demanding tee shot at Liberty National. The fairway looks almost single file from the tee, but it’s actually more forgiving than it appears. A huge landform rises on the entire right side of the hole, containing all but the wildest shots. Players will use a wide variety of clubs from the tee to avoid the water left and the mounds and trees on the right. A good drive will leave players with a mid-iron approach to a green well protected by water on the left and a deep bunker right.
