This dogleg left, another strong par 4, is very demanding from the tee. Three bunkers protect the right side of the landing area, as do two on the left. Even though the drive is tight, all of the players except the longest will probably elect driver from the tee because of the hole’s length. Reaching the green out of any of the bunkers will require a fantastic recovery shot. The green is set into a natural amphitheater with one huge wrap-around bunker left of the putting surface. There are no obstacles in front, allowing players to bounce shots into just about every pin placement. The putting surface is divided by one large undulation in the middle, which has the effect of sectioning off parts of this severely sloping green.
