This is the longest par 3 on the course, but the yardage is a little deceptive since the hole plays slightly downhill from the tee. A lake and a large wrap-around bunker guard the left side of the putting surface. The green is open in front, leaving an easy pitch from short of the green. But for those who challenge the green and miss, there are some extremely busy, closely mown collection areas to the right. That’s an important consideration since players will be hitting fairway woods and hybrids for their tee shots. The green slants slightly to the right so the grassy hollows can really come into play. Depending on the conditions, the smart move might be to play to the front of the green and not one yard farther. Three will be a very good score on this hole.
