The shortest par 5 on the course for the members will play as a par 4 during The Barclays. The 10th tee is the farthest point out on the course, and the hole turns back north toward the clubhouse and the New York skyline. The tee shot plays downhill, leaving most players a mid-iron into a green that has more-than-adequate depth, being more than 50 yards deep. Trees sit at the inside corner of the landing area at the point where the hole turns right, and players must avoid a cluster of three bunkers on the left. There is a lake to the left of the hole and a creek bisects the fairway, but neither should come into play from the tee. Three bunkers, one to the left and two on the right, frame the green, which has numerous subtle breaks and multiple hole locations.
