Atlanta Classic Foundation

The Atlanta Classic Foundation and Atlanta Classic Foundation Charities are the non-profit volunteer organizations that will manage and operate the Georgia-Pacific Grand Champion's Championship for Georgia-Pacific.

The Foundation was founded in 1964 and brought the Atlanta Golf Classic to the metro area in 1967. The organization continues to manage and operate, what is now the BellSouth Classic, the week before The Masters Tournament at the Tournament Players Club at Sugarloaf.

The Foundation has donated more than $13 million to charity since 1988. The primary charity receiving donations from the BellSouth Classic is Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. CHOA has received more than $12 million for pediatric healthcare of Atlanta and Georgia children. The Foundation also supports junior golf programs at the local and state levels.

The Foundation is more than 100 men and women, who have a passion for golf and the well-being of children.

The Atlanta Classic Foundation was a partner with Georgia-Pacific from 1982-1988, when G-P was the title sposnor of the PGA TOUR's Georgia-Pacific Atlanta Golf Classic contested at Atlanta Country Club.

Directions

Hawks Ridge Golf Club is located in Ball Ground, GA (Cherokee County).

From I-75:  Follow I-75 North to I-575. Continue North to exit #19, GA Highway 20 at Canton. Turn left off of the exit on to GA Highway 20 Eastbound toward Cumming. Travel approximately 11 miles to the stop light at Ball Ground Road/GA Route 372 and turn left. The Hawks Ridge entrance is located on the right past the Sales Center.

From GA 400: Take GA 400 North to Windward Parkway (exit #11). Turn left off of the exit ramp. Follow Windward Parkway approximately 12 miles (the road will change names from Windward Parkway to Cogburn to Hopewell to Holbrook Campground, but you will never turn at any point; simply continue straight until it dead-ends at GA Highway 20. Turn left onto GA Highway 20 and follow to your first traffic light which is Ball Ground Road/GA Route 372. Turn right onto Ball Ground Road/GA Route 372. Hawks Ridge entrance will be on your right, just past the Sales Center.

Spectator Parking

Spectator parking will be located on-site. You must have a tournament ticket for everyone in the vehicle before parking.

Tickets will be on sale at Will Call, located at the Hawks Ridge Sales Center, for those who do not have tickets on their person when they arrive to park. Tickets are $10 each. CASH ONLY.

Follow directions to Hawks Ridge in the "DIRECTIONS" section and you will be directed to Spectator Parking upon arrival.

After parking your vehicle a free shuttle bus will deliver spectators to the clubhouse area. The bus will pick-up at the same location for shuttle back to the spectator parking area.

Will Call
Will Call is located at the Hawks Ridge Sales Center just east of the main entrance. It will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday, September 8 and September 9.
