Constellation Energy Senior Players Championship
Charity Donations

Since the inception of both the former Constellation Energy Classic and the Senior Players Championship, over $8 million dollars has been generated for charity.

Beneficiaries of the 2007 Constellation Energy Senior Players Championship are the BGE Community Assistance Fund, The First Tee of Baltimore, Kennedy Krieger Institute, and Union Memorial Sports Medicine.

BGE Community Assistance Fund
The BGE Community Assistance Fund helps customers with financial and energy management challenges to maintain their electric and gas service. Administered by the Baltimore Community Foundation, the BGE Community Assistance Fund distributes financial resources to organizations like the Salvation Army, community action agencies, and other community-based organizations that help customers who are facing service disconnection. Through the Fund, BGE contributes substantively to organizations that provide strategic direction to the issues, policies, and programs that impact the limited income community at-large.

The First Tee has nine core values - sportsmanship, confidence, integrity, perseverance, respect, responsibility, judgment, courtesy, and honesty. The First Tee started in 1998 and now operates through a network of 197 chapters in 41 states and five countries. The First Tee of Baltimore operates at Clifton Park Golf Course, part of the Baltimore Municipal Golf Corporation, and projects to reach 1,500 young people over the next three years.
