Transportation: The best place to arrive is the Cancun International Airport (CUN), which is about 45 minutes from Playa del Carmen.  American Airlines, Continental, Northwest, US Airways, Delta and British Airways have international flights from the United States and the rest of the world, while Aeromexico, Mexicana, Aerolineas Azteca, Aviacsa and Aerocaribe de Mexico offer domestic flights into Cancun.

Business Hours: Most businesses and shops are open from 9 A.M. to 10 P.M., and closed between 2 P.M. and 4 P.M.
