What are the dates and times of the 2007 SKINS GAME?
  • Friday, Nov. 23 - Sunday, Nov. 25
  • Friday Pro-Am tees off at 10:00 a.m.
  • Saturday: Nos. 1-9. Tee time begins at 9 a.m.

Where is the Celebrity Golf Course at Indian Wells located?
How much are the players competing for?
  • The $1 million purse makes THE LG SKINS GAME one of the richest two-day events in the history of golf. Each of the first six holes (Nos. 1 through 6) will be worth $25,000. Each of the second six holes (Nos. 7 through 12) will be worth $50,000. Nos. 13 through 17 will each be worth $70,000, and the 18th hole, the LG Super Skin, will be worth $200,000. The foursome will play for $300,000 on Saturday and $700,000 on Sunday. All four players have agreed to donate 20 percent of their winnings ($200,000) out of the $1 million purse to their favorite charities.
  • What is the Indian Wells Golf Resort and the Celebrity Course?
  • The Clive Clark-designed Celebrity Course opened for public play on November 1, 2006. The par-72, 18-hole, championship golf course is the first of two new golf courses to be built at the Indian Wells Golf Resort. The new Celebrity Course at Indian Wells Golf Resort offers the winning combination of aesthetic beauty and strategic intrigue.   • Is there a charge for children?

     

    What is the fee for parking?
    •  All parking is at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden off Washington and Miles.  A shuttle service will be provided.  All parking and shuttles are provided FREE of charge to take you to the Indian Wells Golf Resort.  Please note that with one starting time each day; many people arrive at the golf course at approximately the same time.  This can cause slight delays in the shuttling process, so please be sure to arrive as early as possible each day. Numerous activities are happening each morning, so there will be plenty to experience before play begins.  
    Where is Public Parking?
    • All parking is at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden off Washington and Miles. A shuttle service to Indian Wells Golf Resort will be provided free of charge. 
    Where may I purchase tickets locally?
    •  Tickets for the 2007 LG SKINS GAME and LG SKINS PRO-AM event may now be purchased online at http://www.indianwells.com/LGskinsgame/index.php, and in person after Sept. 24 at Indian Wells City Hall, 44-950 Eldorado Drive, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Friday. Tickets also will be available for purchase during LG SKINS GAME weekend. The LG SKINS GAME weekend events - including the star-studded Celebrity Pro-Am - are fun for the whole family.
    Am I supposed to receive a confirmation immediately when I place an order for tickets over the Internet?

     Yes, you will receive a confirmation.

    Are credit cards accepted at the gate?

     Yes, credit cards are accepted at the gate.

    If I wait until the day of the tournament to buy a ticket, will I be able to do so?

     Yes, if tickets are still available and the event has not sold out, you will be able to buy tickets the day of the event.

    What types of tickets are available for purchase?

     3 day passes are $75

    Friday Pro-Am Round - $25

    Saturday, Front 9 - $45

    Sunday, Back 9 - $45

    Are there certain things we cannot bring on to the courses?
    • Memorabilia, cell phones, pagers, radios, portable televisions, picnic baskets or coolers are not permitted on the grounds during the tournament. Such items will be confiscated or you will be asked to return the items to their vehicles.
    • During Friday's Celebrity Pro-Am cameras, cell phones and memorabilia are allowed. This is the day to get up close and personal with the stars of the PGA TOUR, NBA, NHL, NFL and MLB.
    What amenities are available on the course?
    • There are plenty of restrooms and food concessions available every day.

    Will the Celebrity Course at Indian Wells host the event again?
    • Yes. The City of Indian Wells will be the host for THE LG SKINS GAME in 2008 and 2009. 2007 marks the 25th anniversary of THE LG SKINS GAME.
    Who designed the golf course?
    • The Celebrity Course was designed by Clive Clark.
      It is a par 72 and 7,088 yards long.  In addition to spectacular mountain views, the new Celebrity Course features undulating fairways, and flowing water in the form of streams, brooks, and split-level lakes connected by striking waterfalls, with vibrant floral detail. From start to finish, the Celebrity Course promises an unmatched golf experience that will have players returning again and again.
    Can I get autographs during play when the players are walking from one hole to another?
    • We ask that you hold requests for autographs until the players complete their rounds. Autographs will also be available Friday all day.
    Can I bring memorabilia, i.e. a golf ball for Stephen Ames to sign?
    • Only on Friday. On Saturday and Sunday memorabilia  will not be allowed on the course and you will be required to check the item. You can retrieve the item when you leave the course.
    • New PGA TOUR security procedures will ban entry of all backpacks, packages and other items larger than a small purse. This ban includes large camera carrying cases. Tournament volunteers are also bound by this restriction. As with cameras and cell phones, it will be necessary to have prohibited items either returned to the car or checked at the gate. All items such as purses, camera cases and other small personal carry items will be subject to search. No photographs are permitted.
    What clothing do you sell?
    There is LG SKINS GAME merchandise available at the course during the tournament.
    When will the LG Skins Game be televised?

    ABC - Saturday, November 24th, 1pm-3:30pm EST

             Sunday, November 25th, 3:30pm - 6pm EST
