Service, enthusiasm and expertise are all qualities that more than 800 volunteers dedicate each year to the FUNAI Classic on behalf of the Heart of Florida United Way. From keeping score while walking 18 holes on a hot, sunny day to carrying the standard sign in high winds or reminding spectators to be as "quiet as a mouse," the volunteers are always there. Because of the volunteers' 25,000 hours of service, the FUNAI Classic is able to make over $250,000 in donations to local charities. Realizing how important their assistance is in making a difference at the event and in the community, the volunteers are dedicated to their roles and the ultimate success of the tournament.
