Volunteer Registration for The Barclays 2009 is now open!  This year we are encouraging all our volunteers to register online by clicking on the link at the bottom of this section.  Applying online is quick and easy!  All the materials you need will be on our registration website.

All volunteers must purchase the volunteer package at a cost of $50.  Your payment offsets a portion of the actual cost of the package so that the tournament may continue to benefit local charitable organizations. 

The Barclays Official Volunteer Uniform Package Includes:

• The Barclays logo'd polo
• The Barclays logo'd baseball cap
• Volunteer Badge (valid for entry the entire week)
• Guest Badge (valid for entry the entire week)
• Volunteer Parking Pass (valid the entire week)
• Lunch on days worked
• Admission to the Volunteer Appreciation Party

We ask that you take a moment to review them all.  Please note, all volunteers must provide three (3) committee choices and commit at least three (3) available days to volunteer.  Priority for committee assignments will be given to those volunteers who worked on their chosen committee during The 2008 Barclays provided they apply by March 1, 2009.  After that, commitees will be filled on a first come, first served basis. 

You will receive notification of your committee assignment at the end of April and the Chairman of your committee will contact you in June or July regarding shift assignments.

It is only with the commitment of our outstanding volunteer force that an event like The Barclays is possible.  Not only will you be a part of the exciting start to the PGA TOUR Playoffs for the FedExCup, but your participation will help The Barclays continue to support local charities.  Last year, The Barclays contributed $1 million to deserving area charities and has given away over $35 million in charitable donations since its inception in 1967.  We look forward to having you be a part of that tradition of giving.

Most importantly, thanks to our volunteers, The Barclays will be able to donate proceeds from the tournament to all of our local community charities.
