| THE PLAYERS 5K With Donna - TPC Sawgrass |
![]() THE PLAYERS Championship will culminate its "Giving Back Month" in November with "THE PLAYERS 5K with Donna", a run through the final nine holes of THE PLAYERS Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass, on Saturday, Nov. 28. The 5K will be followed by a post-event celebration on the event lawn of the TPC Sawgrass clubhouse. 100% of net proceeds and raised funds will go towards breast cancer research at Mayo Clinic and care through the Donna Foundation, an organization dedicated to funding the needs of women with breast cancer. All participants who wear their PLAYERS 5K with Donna run shirt to THE PLAYERS final round on Mother's Day will gain access into a special hospitality suite, the "5K with Donna Sawgrass Suite" on the 16th tee. The Grant Application deadline has come and past. If you were unable to participate this year we encourage you to get your name in earlier next year for us to send you an application. While the applications themselves will not be available until post-PLAYERS of 2010, you are more than welcomed to give us your information to put on a list for a 2010 grant application. We are proud that nearly 100 organizations benefited from the 2008 tournament. In November 2008, THE PLAYES held a "Giving Back" week where TOUR players and staff reached out to the community.
