As part of a continued commitment towards local charities and community organizations of Florida's First Coast, THE PLAYERS Championship is currently accepting Grant Applications.  Please carefully review the Grant Application Guidelines and if interested in applying, submit a completed application to the tournament office by Friday, July 24, 2009.  Applications will be reviewed by committee in late August and organizations will be notified in the fall.

The grant application is designed to give committee members a snapshot of your organization and a short summary of your funding request.  Information supporting your request should be attached to the application and must include the Required Documentation.  Please keep attachments to a minimum (no 3-ring binders please).

Young Professionals hold fundraising event at TPC Sawgrass for Ronald Mcdonald House

WHAT: Nearly 400 young professionals are expected to help raise funds for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Jacksonville at the TPC Sawgrass Clubhouse.  The gathering is part of the popular "Thursday Night Drinking Club" which provides a social atmosphere for local young professionals looking to network.

Attendees will have a chance to win tickets to THE 2010 PLAYERS Championship, a full TaylorMade MATT Fitting at the TOUR Academy TPC Sawgrass or a social membership at TPC Sawgrass.

The event will feature an interactive golf skills challenge hosted by the TOUR Academy TPC Sawgrass and live music by Time2Swing.For a $5 donation guests will enjoy happy hour specials including cocktails, beer and fine wines by the glass with appetizer choices.

$3 million Donated from 2008 PLAYERS

Thanks to the support of the First Coast community, our dedicated volunteers and community partners, THE PLAYERS Championship generated $3 million for local charities and scholarship aid in 2008.  We are proud that nearly 100 organizations benefited from the 2008 tournament.

TOUR Academy, TPC Sawgrass

THE PLAYERS Championship, the TOUR Academy at TPC Sawgrass, in conjunction with Baptist Health, is offering "Pink Links," a four week free class which promotes the healing process for breast cancer survivors through the game of golf.
