Tournament • Dates: March 3 - 9, 2014 • Course: Trump International Golf Club Puerto Rico • Format: Stroke Play, 72 holes, 36 hole cut • PGA TOUR Players: 132 • PGA TOUR Caddies: 132 • Purse: $3,500,000.00 • Winner's share: $630,000.00 Local Support and Outreach • Sponsor Participation: 65 local entities participated as sponsors at the 2013 Puerto Rico Open; There were 44 private hospitality spaces used as well as a multitude of promotional packages • Over 1 million dollars in trade expense was invested in the tournament's local advertising campaign • More than 60,000 fans attended the event during the week • The tournament received 20 hours of international TV coverage through the Golf Channel, and had the capability of reaching 500 million households in 200 different countries. The broadcast showcased the beauty and cultural significance of the Islands of Puerto Rico throughout the world • To date, we have accrued over 500 million impressions in local, US and International Media. We were able to place stories in principal media outlets around the world Economic Impact • Locally, the tournament has contributed over $80 million dollars to the Puerto Rican economy over four years • The event generated more than 6,000 room nights in the Rio Grande and Metropolitan area in 2011 Community Involvement • Giving back to the community is our focus. Our strong relationship with Fondos Unidos has helped us generate approximately $2,800,000.00 in charitable funds during the tournament's first five years. The funds have directly benefited local communities in Loíza and the youth of the Río Grande area. • Six young Puerto Ricans, who have been granted a $6,000.00 scholarship for their undergraduate education through the tournament, recently received their first golf tees and bag • 800+ volunteers dedicated their time to make sure our event operated flawlessly
