 Around 800 volunteers will be needed from March 25-April 1, 2007. Below is a brief description of some of the various
volunteer opportunities available.

MARSHAL: (Monday-Sunday) Marshal's responsibilities consist of providing control over the gallery and
competent maintenance for every hole and moving throughout the course during every day of tournament play. This is a standing
and/or walking position.
WALKING SCORER: (Thursday-Sunday) Walking scorers should be available to work and entire round and
walk 18 holes with his/her assigned contestant. A thorough knowledge of golf is necessary for this position as scoring includes
statistics and computer entry.
STANDARD BEARER: (Thursday-Sunday) A standard bearer's job is to walk along with a group of pros and
display their scores to the gallery. This is considered a "physical" position, as you will carry a sign for an entire round
of golf (approx 4.5 hours). You should be in good physical health.
FINANCE/ADMISSIONS/WILL-CALL: (Thursday-Sunday) Responsible for ticket sales at admissions gate, will
call, VIP services and general tournament information.
SECURITY: (Monday-Sunday) Must be at least 21 years of age. Responsible for security at various locations
throughout the property. This position is necessary to maintain the professional atmosphere of the PGA TOUR.
SPECIAL EVENTS: (Sunday & Wednesday Evening) Help with coordinating other special events that will
take place in the early part of the week. Set-up and maintenance of various structures, assist with food and beverage needs
and act as the concierge for the event.
PLAYER SERVICES: (Monday-Sunday) Must be at least 21 years of age. Shuttling players and caddies to
and from specified areas. Assist with professional and amateur registration. Provide professionals with any assistance needed.
VOLUNTEER SERVICES: (Monday-Sunday) Help with volunteer package distribution, set-up and maintenance
of the volunteer hospitality area, and oversee morning coffee, beverages, snacks & meals.
THE GOLF CHANNEL-FULL ROUND SPOTTERS/SCORERS: (Thursday-Sunday) Relay to The Golf Channel Associate
Producer information regarding scores, playing order on the fairway, etc. Microphone operators: positioned throughout the
course to be near players to record sounds of golfers and shots. A basic knowledge of golf etiquette & scoring needed
and availablity to work a full round of golf (approximately 9a-9p each day is required). Must be at least 18 years of age.
TGC personnel prefer working with the same people all 4 days.
