Additionally, in Rochester, there are two programs that enable employees to volunteer for established organizations: The Science Consultant Program, through which technical employees teach science lessons to 3rd-6th grade students in local schools, and FIRST, through which employees mentor student teams competing in a national robotics competition.  Xerox was a founding sponsor of this year's Finger Lakes Regional FIRST Robotics Competition.
