Hole Par Yards
1 4 415

Elevated tee gives players great view of the rolling terrain of front nine.  Landing area for tee shot provides a side hill, downhill lie for your second shot.  Tee shot must carry 265 yards for a level lie second shot.  A well hit drive sets up an opening birdie opportunity.

2 3 173

Tough uphill Par three.  Take 1 to 2 clubs more than yardage indicates, unless wind is at your back.  Don't stray too far right on tee shot or you're faced with a very difficult recovery from #6 green surrounds/bunkers.

3 5 522

Dogleg left hole, that sets up to be hit in two after a long drive.  A tee shot that strays either right or left will give the player a severe lie for second shot.  Very small, hard to hold green is the hole's main defense.

4 3 196

Good hole with deceiving valley fronting green.  False front green has a lot of back to front pitch.  Three putting here is a distinct possibility.

5 4 363

Birdies galore on this hole.  Hit tee shot favoring left side for your most level lie second shot.  Second shot is blind to the green.  Pull your second shot left of green and you face steep pitch back to green.

6 3 130

Harmless par 3 unless the wind is blowing against you.

7 4 475

Signature oak tree in middle of fairway forces you to position your second shot around it.  Second shot is blind over a rise.  The tillinghast designed green features tough pin placement.

8 4 432

Toughest ranked hole on front nine.  Player's drive most likely will leave you with a middle iron shot to green from a side hill lie.  Double tiered, uphill green usually will take 1 to 2 clubs more than you think.

9 5 512

Reachable par 5.  A variety of side hill lies both uphill and downhill await errant shots.  Second shot will be a blind to an elevated green.

10 4 405

Second shot is downhill into a green that penalizes errant shot making.  Miss the downhill green on either side or long and player faces a very difficult recovery.

11 4 435

Dogleg left hole, with creek bisecting fairway about 80 yards from the green.  Creek also winds to left side of green.  A drive down the left side must fly 270 yards to carry the fairway bunkers.

12 4 321

Short doglet right birdie hole.  Tee shot should favor left side of fairway to give you the best opening to the green.

13 4 434

Tough Par 4.  Creek bisects fairway 260 yards from tee, so player is faced with a possible lay up decision.  Second shot into the green is all uphill.  The green is very firm and undulating.

14 4 434

Another long par 4, slight dogleg right.  Tee shot should favor left side of fairway.  Fairway is usually soft so you must carry the ball to your target on both tee and second shots.

15 3 171

Only par 3 on back nine.  Deceiving club selection on this hole as wind usually is swirling.  Creek cuts in front and to left of green.  Out of bounds to right side of green.  Back of green falls away from the player.

16 4 380

Good Par 4 to an uphill small two-level green.  Back of green pin placements set up the challenge on this hole.

17 4 444

Another very demanding Par 4.  All uphill, all carry to your landing zones.  Second shot to green must be 1-2 clubs longer than you think.  Two level green is another toughie.

18 4 478

Scenic, closing hole.  Side hill lies galore make the second shot difficult.
