| Why do we need volunteers? |
Over 800 volunteers are required to assist in many aspects of the tournament. Marshals, Scoring, Administration, Admission/Ticketing, Standard Bearers, Transportation are just some of the different committees where volunteers are needed. Each tournament gives back substantial donations to charities and the volunteers are a primary reason for this by doing so many important jobs during the tournament. Quite simply all tournaments could not function without a large pool of dedicated volunteers! |

Volunteers receive an extensive volunteer package for their time and commitment. This includes.... In addition to the volunteer package you will also get to experience the unique opportunity of being 'inside the ropes' and being up close to the players and all the action. Volunteers are asked to pay a small volunteer fee that simply offsets a part of the costs associated with the volunteer package. This enables the tournament to maximise their profits and therefore give more back to charity. |
