PAL (Promoting Arts and Literacy), benefiting the Victoria Gardens Cultural Center Arts and culture have long proven vital to a healthy community, stimulating economies and generally enhancing quality of life. The City of Rancho Cucamonga's - Victoria Gardens Cultural Center, dedicated in August 2006, is home to the 536-seat performing arts center, the Lewis Family Playhouse; a second full-service City Library, the Paul A. Biane Library and events space of Celebration Hall. In addition to hosting well known artists and presented shows, the City of Rancho Cucamonga created The MainStreet Theatre Company which recruits actors, directors, and designers with national credits for it's produced theatre for young audience (TYA) shows. The Playhouse and Library combine efforts to create educational programs and resources for parents and teachers to enhance the experience of children attending live professional theatre performances. The PAL Campaign has a goal of raising $7 million to build an endowment and provide monetary support to enhance and augment library and performing arts programming at the Victoria Gardens Cultural Center. With a focus on professional theatre for young audiences and families and literary programs and services, this incredible facility will build and excite the dreams and imaginations for generations to come. |

Steven's Hope provides temporary housing, goods and other services to the families who have children hospitalized for an extended length of time. Currently offering "Building Hope", a program that develops multi-unit residences in the immediate area of selected hospitals for children. They hope to reduce the financial hardships that burden the familes of seriously ill or injured during the emotionally challenging time of a child's extended treatment and care while away from home. |
