Welcome! Children's Miracle Network helps Kansas children who
are ill or injured children with cancer, cystic fibrosis, AIDS, heart disease, muscular disease, hearing loss, birth defects,
burns, traumatic injuries and many other conditions. Locally, CMN is a Via Christi Foundation program that raises funds year round to help Kansas children. Nationally, CMN is
a nonprofit organization affiliated with 170 hospitals, including Via Christi Regional Medical Center in Wichita. CMN helps
by:
Paying for expenses not covered by insurance -- things like medicines, therapy, hearing aids, wheelchairs, travel to stay
with hospitalized children, formula and diapers.
Supporting programs of advocacy, such as scholarships to special summer
camps and services for parents who are grieving the loss of a child.
Funding pediatric equipment and capital improvements
that hospitals and other healthcare facilities could not otherwise afford, such as emergency crash carts used in critical
care situations, infant car seats for safety, specialized hearing equipment, toys and other items.
Supporting capital
improvements such as Via Christi's NewLife Center and ChildLife Center, which both focus on family-centered care.
On
behalf of the children who courageously face health challenges greater than most of us can imagine, we invite you to join
your neighbors, business colleagues and co-workers to make miracles happen.
