2003 Champions Tour Schedule

PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. -- The 2003 Georgia-Pacific Grand Champions schedule will feature 12 competitions at select Champions Tour events from February through October, including the final event, the Georgia-Pacific Grand Champions Championship, where $400,000 in prize money will be on the line.

Players age 60 and older who are entered in the full-field Champions Tour event are eligible for the Georgia-Pacific Grand Champions tournament within a tournament. Winners are determined based on scores posted during the first two rounds, except the Georgia-Pacific Grand Champions Championship, which is a 54-hole competition. Weekly purses will be $175,000 with $30,000 going to the winner.

Bob Murphy, who turns 60 on Feb. 14, is one of the new faces expected to compete in 2003. Dave Eichelberger, who has played in a record 778 PGA TOUR events, turns 60 on Sept. 3 and is also expected to compete in Grand Champions events.
