The Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children and Women

Central Florida is home to one of the most outstanding special hospital facilities in the United States - Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children & Women.

For nearly 15 years the 281-bed hospital has served the needs of children and women from Central Florida and around the world providing care, compassion and leading edge medical technology.

Arnold Palmer has lent not only his name but also his strong support and commitment to ensure that this hospital grows in its services and its outreach. The Bay Hill Invitational is proud to be a part of this success story.

At Arnold Palmer Hospital we realize when a child is sick or a woman is hospitalized, the whole family is affected. In addition to providing the most technologically advanced treatment and assembling a staff of highly recognized medical professionals, we have created a warm, friendly environment. Because, above all else, we know healing and caring go hand in hand.

As the only hospital in the Southeast -- and one of only six in the nation -- dedicated exclusively to serving the special needs of children and women, Arnold Palmer Hospital relies on a family-centered philosophy to create a unique child-based environment.

Specially-designed programs help children adapt to hospital life through play activities including medical role-playing, interaction with other kids in play rooms, Healing Arts and Project P.L.A.Y., a pre-admission orientation program.

Arnold Palmer Hospital is truly the "hospital built for kids" and has many resources to assure the safe arrival of babies into the world. As the regional referral center for high-risk pregnancies, the obstetrics department is prepared to handle any type of pregnancy and delivery, and features "all-in-one" birthing rooms equipped for labor, delivery and recovery. In addition, the area's largest Neonatal Intensive Care Unit provides the highest level of care available to premature and sick newborns.

And, as part of Orlando Regional Healthcare -- a community-owned, not for profit medical provider -- Arnold Palmer Hospital has access to a wide range of services, including the area's only Level One Trauma Center and Central Florida's only hospital-based Air Care Team.
