Lost to Paul Sheehan in a playoff at the Jacob’s Creek Open Championship in his first Nationwide Tour start to obtain Special Temporary Membership. Broke through in the PalmettoPride Classic, dueling with leading money winner Ken Duke down the stretch. Birdied the first playoff hole to secure the victory. Won twice in playoffs and lost the Chattanooga Classic by a stroke when Kyle Reifers closed with course record 11-under-par 61. Became known for his fantastic finishes as well, as he made eagle on the 72nd hole to get into a playoff in each of his victories. Carried the 18-, 36- and 54-holes leads at the 2007 Buick Invitational, but faded to third behind champion Tiger Woods. Finished second at the National Mining Association Pete Dye Classic and the Miccosukee Championship and third at both the Chattanooga Classic and the Legend Financial Group Classic. Long recognized as a great ball-striker, Weekley hit 68 of 72 greens in regulation at Chattanooga, breaking Chad Campbell's Nationwide Tour record of 66.
