 Earns two-year exemption on the PGA TOUR that will take him through the 2008 season. Earns exemption into the several invitational tournaments in 2007 including the Mercedes-Benz Championship in Kapalua, Maui, Hawaii.

2006 NOTES

 Posts third consecutive top-10 on TOUR (tie for eighth at the Southern Farm Bureau Classic and tied for sixth at the Chrysler Classic of Greensboro). Entering the Southern Farm Bureau Classic, was 172nd on TOUR money list with $276,147. With paycheck of $720,000, now stands 73rd on money list with $1,225,397.

 The 13th first-time winner on the PGA TOUR in 2006 and the fourth rookie. He joins J.B. Holmes (FBR Open), Arron Oberholser (AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am), Aaron Baddeley (MCI Heritage), Chris Couch (Zurich Classic of New Orleans), Brett Wetterich (EDS Byron Nelson Championship), J.J. Henry (Buick Championship), Trevor Immelman (Cialis Western Open), John Senden (John Deere Classic), Dean Wilson (The INTERNATIONAL), Will Mackenzie (Reno-Tahoe Open), Eric Axley (Valero Texas Open) and D.J. Trahan (Southern Farm Bureau Classic). Holmes, Immelman and Axley are the other three rookies to win this year.

CAREER NOTES

 Previous top finish on the PGA TOUR was a tie for sixth at last week’s Chrysler Classic of Greensboro.
