RENO, Nev. -- Yusaku Miyazato had two aces within six holes Thursday during the second round of the Reno-Tahoe Open.

It is believed to be the first time in modern PGA TOUR history that a player has made two holes-in-one during the same round. Two players have had two aces in the same event, though -- Bob Tway at the 1994 Memorial Tournament and Glen Day in the 1994 Greater Hartford Open.

Miyazato used a 4-iron on the 230-yard seventh hole and a 7-iron on the 173-yard 12th.
