Fans congratulate Tiger Woods

Editor’s note: Tiger Woods won his 50th PGA TOUR title on Sunday at the Buick Open. Here are some of the e-mails PGATOUR.com received congratulating Woods, who is headed to Hawaii for the season-opening Mercedes Championships in 2007.

Congrats Tiger, you've inspired me to play golf. I've been playing a year and got my first birdie today. Congrats and thanks for making golf exciting.
Scott

Tiger -- 50 down, 50 to go. Congratulations!
Andy Tadlock

I had a stroke June 6th. Golf and poker on TV are the only things I have to keep my sanity. I’m real glad you won. Keep on winning Tiger. Thanks,
Pops

Good job Tiger, never let up. Greatness is rare and you are without question the greatest of all. I make my children watch whenever you play so they can witness history in the making. Good luck at the PGA Championship.
Don Chautin

One hundred wins and twenty majors by the time Tiger turns 40 years old is now more a probability than possibility. Go Tiger! Congrats on number 50!
Keith Samuel

Congratulations Tiger! May you win many, many more and bring joy to an old man in a wheelchair who looks forward to watching you play on TV.
Billy White

Congratulations on your 50th win Tiger. You are a truly an inspiration and a superb athlete. Your dedication to children and charities is as admirable as your tremendous skill and talent as a player. Thank you for all that you do!

When an elder dies back home in Zimbabwe, man cries in public. You did just that two weeks ago. It was very strange seeing that Tiger is human. It is really surprising that grieving is not given space in North American culture. Thank you for grieving with everyone after the British Open. This follow-up victory is like welcoming your father home. Your Dad will always be with you, no matter if you win or lose. Remember that. Many congratulations to you.
Lameck Brampton

My wife and I are very proud of you. I've been waiting for your "standard" of excellence to return. As my Mom would say, "You are just too too", which means you are just something else.
Steve Tennison

Congratulations Tiger! To have 50 wins at 30 years of age -- your accomplishments continue to astonish and enliven golf. Thanks for letting all of us come along on such a wonderful winning ride!
Evans Donnell

Tiger, congratulations on your 50th PGA TOUR victory! Continue to keep that driver in the bag and you'll definitely surpass both the Bear's major record and Slammin' Sammy's victories record sooner than later!
Bob from Chicago (near Medinah!)

I knew by the end of Thursday's round that this was yours. Wow! 50 wins at age 30, four straight rounds of 66, 28 putts. Is there anything you can't do? Another video to add to my collection of "Tiger Wins". I need a bigger bookcase.
Barbara Davis

There's no better way to spend a Sunday than to watch Tiger win on the PGA TOUR. 50 by 30...outstanding! Congratulations, Tiger!
Sara Thurman

Tiger: Great stuff. Absolutely fabulous. As a person who studied in St. Andrews for seven years, I know a little about golf and you are undoubtedly the greatest player ever. You give me, as well as, I am sure millions of others, enormous pleasure and wonderment. Congratulations, for what they are worth, from an admirer.
Bill Salmond

Congrats on 50 wins and 11 majors (12th is on the way in two weeks). Personally, I think this is less than halfway to your eventual records. My first time ever watching golf on TV was your win at Medinah (sorry I missed your ‘97 Masters -- I had to work on that day). I had been watching you ever since, and taping most of your wins. I had done the same for Michael Jordan's games. I am trying to build something for my daughter so she can see it when she grows up. For that, I thank you and I hope you have 30 majors and 200 career wins. Of course, I’ll need more tapes too.
Mike Feng

Tiger, congratulations on your 50th win. Any extra Buicks laying around?
Greg Halvorson

Eres El más grande De La historia!
Carlos Hernández Gil

Tiger, you are amazing to watch. You could quit golf today and be a legend, but I think you have something greater in mind! Good luck in the PGA Championship!
Dave McCown

Congratulations Tiger! From all the soldiers at the Kent recruiting station in Ravenna, Ohio. Lead the way!
Mike Dewyea

Atta boy! Two great games in a row -- no letdown from your fantastic British Open. Somewhere your Dad is smiling and is so proud, as are we. From an octogenarian admirer.
Audrey Martinson

Dear Young Master, You are to golf as Mozart was to music! Thanks for working so hard to become the greatest golfer on earth. Your 50th PGA TOUR victory is only the first 50! May you continue to win majors and continue to be the serious, polite and clean cut man you are. I admire your athletic ability but also the respectful man that your dad and mom helped create. Very sincerely.
Fred James

Felicidades from Bolivia, Tiger! I am very happy that you are back on track to your winning ways. Look forward to see you with the trophy Sunday afternoon of the PGA Championship.
Ramiro M. Leon

Tiger, I know your Dad would be very proud of you. You are an inspiration for me and generations to come. Your hard work and dedication is paying off. You and others like you make me proud to be a part of this great country. If you ever run for President, you have my vote!
Fitz Perfect

Wow -- 50 wins! Congratulations! You are an excellent tribute to a father's love and dedication to helping his son become the best he can be. Keep making Heaven the happiest 19th hole imaginable!
Michael Beiser

Tiger, Nice 248-yard 4-iron you hit on Saturday. That was sick-nasty. Congratulations on being the best golfer to ever swing a club. It's amazing to me how well you keep focus, even on holes like No. 17 where people throw fruit at you. Stay classy man, you're a true inspiration.
