Robert Allenby
News: Allenby has three top-25 finishes in his last five starts, but he also has two WDs.

Analysis: Allenby has made three cuts in four events at TPC Avenel. He is driving the ball well, ranking fifth in total driving and is 11th in sand save percentage.

Brett Wetterich
News: It's feast or famine -- Wetterich has four top-6 finishes and three missed cuts in his last seven starts.

Analysis: Wetterich ranks fifth in driving distance and is 12th in greens in regulation. With most of his Ryder Cup competition not playing this week, Wetterich has a good chance to pick up some points and improve his position for making the team.

Henrik Bjornstad
News: Bjornstad started the year strong, but he has missed the cut in five of his last eight starts.

Analysis: At the beginning of the season Bjornstad was leading the TOUR in ball striking, but he has dropped to 50th. He still ranks 13th in driving distance, but is only 89th in greens in regulation and ranks 131st in driving accuracy.

Charley Hoffman
News: Last week was Hoffman's first start in major championship. Hoffman made the cut and finished tied for 48th overall.

Analysis: Hoffman has been one of the most consistent rookies making 11 of 15 cuts. Hoffman ranks eight in driving distance and is tied for 38th in greens in regulation.

Charles Howell III
News: Howell has made the cut in 15 of his 17 starts in 2006, including last week at the U.S. Open.

Analysis: Howell shot an opening round 61 and finished alone in second at the Booz Allen Classic when it was played at TPC Avenel in 2004. Look for Howell to be in the mix on Sunday.

J.B. Holmes
News: After missing the cut in his last three events, Holmes made the cut at the U.S. Open.

Analysis: Holmes ranks second in driving distance, seventh in going for it percentage and is ninth in total eagles. His performance at the U.S. Open should give him confidence heading into this week.

Richard S. Johnson
News: Johnson has made the cut in his last five events and has recorded two top-10s in his last seven starts.

Analysis: Johnson ranks third in putting from 4 to 8 feet and is second in average distance of putts made. He missed the cut at the Booz Allen Classic in 2004, but made the cut the last two times the event was played at TPC Avenel.

Jerry Kelly
News: Kelly has missed the cut in eight of 17 starts in 2006.

Analysis: Kelly ranks 24th in driving accuracy and is fourth in scrambling. Currently 16th in the Ryder Cup points standings, a strong finish could move Kelly into the top 10.

Fredrik Jacobson
News: Jacobson finished tied for fifth in his last start at the Barclays Classic, but he has also missed the cut in three of his last five starts.

Analysis: Jacobson is 18th in putting average and ranks seventh in average distance of putts made. This will be Jacobson's first appearance at TPC Avenel, although he did finish tied for 29th at last year's Booz Allen held at Congressional Golf Club.

Fred Funk
News: Funk has made the cut in his last four starts and finished tied for 40th at last week's U.S. Open.

Analysis: The former golf coach at the University of Maryland will be the local favorite this week, but he has missed the cut at the Booz Allen eight times in 19 starts. As usual, Funk is among the leaders in driving accuracy.
