• Chris Couch's victory last week was the ninth by a former Nationwide Tour player on the PGA TOUR this season and the third in a row following wins by Aaron Baddeley and Stuart Appleby. Former players have now won 184 PGA TOUR titles. • Johnson Wagner is the only player on the Nationwide Tour to have played in all 28 competitive rounds this season. He’s been one of the hottest players on Tour since the U.S. portion of the schedule began finishing tied for fifth or better in three of his last four starts, including a win at the Chitimacha Louisiana Open. • Ken Duke enters this week’s Virginia Beach Open with three consecutive Top-10 finishes, including his first career win at last week’s BMW Charity Pro-Am at The Cliffs. He’ll be playing on the PGA TOUR this week at the Wachovia Championship. • Jim Rutledge is having his best season on the Nationwide Tour and maybe his early eagle barrage is where the credit should lie. After making only four eagles in 77 rounds last year, the Canadian has six this season in just 25 rounds—the most on the Nationwide Tour.
