NEW YORK -- Tiger Woods' agent issued an apology on Friday for the golf star calling himself a "spaz" after the Masters last week. "Tiger meant nothing derogatory to any person or persons and apologizes for any offense caused," IMG agent Mark Steinberg said on Woods' official website. After finishing tied for third at the Masters on Sunday, Woods said, "I putted atrociously today. Once I got on the greens, I was a spaz." The word "spaz" is considered by some people a derogatory way of referring to someone with physical coordination problems. ©The Associated Press. All Rights Reserved. |
