Peter Lonard carded 23 birdies on his way to victory at last year's Verizon Heritage, however almost half of those birdies were recorded in the opening round. Firing 11 birdies in round 1 and six more in round 3, Lonard was a combined 14-under par in the first and third rounds and 7-over in rounds 2 and 4. Ultimately, Lonard's odd round scoring approach was enough to keep him on top at the end and earned him his first victory on the PGA TOUR.

• Hitting 48 of Harbour Town's 72 greens in regulation Lonard tied for first in greens in regulation and ranked third in the field in birdie or better conversion percentage turning 43.8 percent of the hit greens into birdies.

• With all four approaches on the 373 yard par-4 13th hole measuring under 11 feet, Lonard recorded three birdies on this hole for the week

• Tying for third in going for it attempts, Lonard took some chances on the tight Harbour Town layout attempting to reach the green on the par-5s and short par-4s on 40 percent of his opportunities.

• Lonard's putting average of 1.646 putts per GIR was fourth in the field and he ranked tenth in average distance of putts made per round holing an average of 88 feet, 10 inches worth of putts per round.

• Scoring below par on 31.9 percent of the holes, Lonard spread his scoring consistently across all holes, ranking in the top three in birdie or better percentage on par-3s, par-4s, and par-5s and ranking eighth or better in scoring average on each of the par groups.
