Congrats, Mr. Woods, on your win. All the guys in my golf group were pulling for you. Active and retired military.
-- Willie Davis III

Dear Tiger, It didn't take long for you to pick up your first win in your 30s. I'm looking forward to a great year, and an even greater decade than your 20s. Congratulations.
-- Brandon Carlson

Congratulations to you on (winning the) Buick Invitational.
-- Minh Nguyen Xuan. Golfer from Hanoi, Vietnam.

Hey Woody! Congrats on your 2006 debut and your first win of many to come this year. You continue to be an inspiration to all young golfers. I am wishing you well this season and I know in my heart you will win at least two majors this year. You go boy! God Bless!
-- Ned Gross

Way to go, El Tigre. You're off to a good start in 2006. I predict you will win a minimum of 10 worldwide to include your fair share of majors and only you know what that number is. Good luck and keep it going.
-- Greg W.

I was so happy to see Tiger win. After the first round when he hit only one fairway he went to the range and spent three hours just on that. That is a prime example that hard work and determination will put you on top of the field.
-- Jonathan Bailey

Congratulations, you are an extra-ordinary person, and for you the possibilities are endless. Thank you for granting me the opportunity to witness your dominance in the world of golf. Wishing you the best on your season. (I) don't want to be a jinx but I hope you win all four majors this year.
-- SSgt. Romeo Wilson

Hi, Tiger Woods. Congratulations on your first victory this new year. It's a good start. I hope you continue your success through out the year. Be cool and confident, You can make it. Cheers! Happy New Year.
-- Teo Song Leng of Singapore.

Congratulations of your gutsy win, Tiger. A golf course that requires accurate long irons, laser eyes on the greens and strength to play out of the rough takes it's emotional toll I'm sure. This appeared to be an emotionally draining day for you, but a win I'm sure you will treasure. You got in there, stuck to it, dug it out. Way to go -- you are a true champion and in my book, the best who ever played the game. As a lifetime Winter Park, Fla., resident we will miss you. By the way, my 93-year-old mom is elated you won today and that you now have enough money to move. (Ha!) Blessings on your 2006 season.
-- Bob Kelley

All I can say is WOW!!! Let's hope that they get easier than No. 47. You had me glued to my computer and my TV until it was over.
-- The Dakotah Rambler-Mark Grothier

Before you turned pro, the pro at the golf course where I used to play said that you would find if very different on the PGA (TOUR). I told him you, more that any other golfer, knew how to win. That is what separates champions from the rest. It's like putting on the Yankee pinstripes, they know how to win. Congratulations.
-- Chris Wood - I don't have an "s" on the end of my name.

Tiger, I just wanted to congratulate you on your victory. The way you grind through your rounds when you are not always hitting like you want to is amazing, and I also wanted share with you that my 7-year-old Evan thinks you are fantastic and in his words the “BOMBDIGGITY!” Congrats again, and we wish you continued health, happiness and good fortune in the future. Sincerely,
-- James Lambert
