The PGA TOUR's The INTERNATIONAL is conducted under a Modified Stableford points system. So instead of getting a medal score like 68 or 72, a player earns points for each birdie, eagle or double eagle he makes. Pars are worth nothing, and points are subtracted for bogeys or worse. Expect to see a lot of fireworks this week at Castle Pines Golf Club since the reward of a birdie or eagle far outweighs the risk of a bogey.
