Breaking Down Power Rankings

By Krystyna Braxton, PGATOUR.COM

According to the statistics, Graham DeLaet is the favorite to win this week's tournament, the RBC Canadian Open.

Rob Bolton's Power Rankings were examined and the 15 players' statistics from the 2013 season were broken down.

The statistics were gathered from six different categories: driving distance, driving accuracy, greens in regulation, proximity to the hole, scrambling, and strokes gained-putting. Then the players' ranks were each added up with a new "Total Rank" category.

From the results, DeLaet tops the list. He ranked first in the greens in regulation. His final ranking, which added 14+39+1+13+26+91, totaled 184.
