Scott Piercy carded a 4-under 66 on Saturday to move into fourth place at 10 under at the HP Byron Nelson Championship.
He can thank his putting for much of it.
In fact, Piercy made a 45-foot, 2-inch putt on No. 10 and a 45-foot, 5-inch putt on the 17th hole in the third round. Since 2003, only 45 times has a player made two putts of more than 40 feet in a single round, according to ShotLink.
Only 12 times has a player made two putts of more than 45 feet. Piercy is the only player to accomplish the feat three times.
