SYNOPSIS
 This one didn't come easy for Tiger Woods, who started the final round one stroke behind Aaron Baddeley and Steve Stricker. Woods needed three straight birdies starting at No. 7, and a 31 on the opening nine just to keep in touch with the leaders. Disappointing pars at Nos. 10 and 11 were followed by a spectacular 50-footer for birdie that moved Woods into a tie at the top. Three more birdies followed and Woods went on to shoot 63 and beat Baddeley, who missed a 20-footer for eagle at No. 15, by two and Stricker by four. The win was Woods' fourth at Cog Hill, the 60th of his career and gave him a 3,133-point lead in the PGA TOUR Playoffs for the FedExCup. "This tournament has been very special to me," Woods said. "I got an exemption to play here as an amateur. I ended up making my first cut ever on the PGA TOUR here. This town has always been great to me. The people have always come out and supported this event, have supported me over the years."
