SYNOPSIS
 The tournament had a new name but it was the same old story as Tiger Woods won at Firestone for the fifth time in his career. The victory was his fourth straight win of the season and came at the expense of Stewart Cink, who had beaten Woods by four shots in the same event in 2004. On this particular Sunday, Cink made up three strokes over the final three holes to force a playoff, but Woods ended up winning the fourth extra hole with an 8-footer for birdie set up by a pinpoint 8-iron. "Wins like this show what you have inside because you don't really have it physically, and you just somehow get yourself to execute a shot properly, somehow find something, and that's not always easy," Woods said. "But I've done it before, and I've been successful, so I've kept drawing upon my experiences in the past and just trying to hang in there somehow."
