SYNOPSIS
 Tiger Woods joined Jack Nicklaus, J.H. Taylor, Bob Martin and James Braid as the only players to have won twice at St. Andrews when he dashed the hopes of Scotsmen everywhere and beat Colin Montgomerie by five strokes. Woods opened with a 66 to lead by one and never lost his advantage, shooting a solid 70 on Sunday to turn back challenges from Monty and Jose Maria Olazabal, among others. The victory marked Woods' 10th major -- putting him more than halfway to his goal of reaching Jack Nicklaus' 18. "Jack took 25 years, I believe to win all 18 of his," Woods said. "¦ To have the opportunity to get to 10 already this soon in my career ... it's very exciting to hopefully look forward to some good years in my 30s and hopefully into my 40s."
