SYNOPSIS
 Tiger Woods successfully defended a title for the first time as a pro at the Memorial Tournament. He seized the lead with a second-round 63 and never looked back -- eventually opening a six-stroke advantage with a 65 on Saturday. "He has a six-stroke lead and he's Tiger," Ernie Els said. "I don't know what else to say. It's over." The final round was delayed until Monday due to heavy rains, but Woods was ready, shooting a 70 to finish at 19 under and five strokes ahead of Els and Justin Leonard. "He's making mincemeat out of golf courses," Jack Nicklaus said. "Every time you turn around it's 63, 64. Guys in the locker room were saying, 'Jack, this course is not that easy.' He's making it look easy."
