A fixture on the PGA TOUR for more than a decade now, Sergio Garcia finds himself on the comeback trail in 2010. He'll be making his 43rd start in a major when he tees it up at the Masters in April - and he's still looking for that elusive first title. Not to mention, the Spaniard, who turns 30 on Jan. 8, hasn't won a TOUR event since the 2008 PLAYERS Championship. Garcia had a chance to win the FedExCup that year, dueling Vijay Singh in the first two events of the PGA TOUR Playoffs before eventually finishing fourth. Last year, though, he was a distant 38th - and it took a late surge to get there with a solo fourth at Greensboro and a tie for sixth at the BMW Championship. That improvement toward the end could mean things are turning around, though. In fact, all three of Garcia's top-10s - the second lowest amount of his career -- came in the final three months of the season as he struggled with off-course distractions. His earnings of $1.2 million also represented the third lowest total of his TOUR career.
The winds of change are blowing on the PGA TOUR. Will El Nino blow back or just blow? Expectations are a hard thing to live up to especially when they are so enormous.
